Thanks to the POR FESR 2014-2020 contribution from the Veneto Region, the company FGM INOX SRL located at VIA DELL’IMPRESA 25/27 in BRENDOLA (VI), ZIP 36040, has carried out a project aimed at renewing the company’s bending department through the implementation of an automated system for sheet metal processing, resulting in increased production speed and improved quality of final products.
The proposed project was carried out through the purchase of a new hydraulic press brake which now allows the company to:
- achieve increasingly higher quality products, manufactured according to precise parameters and standardized procedures;
- significantly reduce the risk of accidents to operators.
The integration of this new equipment into the company’s machine fleet has enabled us to significantly improve our final product, as the use of Easy-Form LaserR (a brand-new angle control system) allows straight lines composed of multiple light points to be projected onto the workpiece and the vertical part of the die. Measurements are taken every 20 milliseconds. Corrections are instantaneous and have no effect on the bending cycle time: the bending angle is therefore read in real time, reducing errors, improving product quality, and eliminating the possibility of production waste (zero defect manufacturing).
